Mara McBain grew up in rural Indiana where she still lives with her husband of twenty years and their teenage son. She has worked in the insurance industry for the past eight years, but dreams of the day her hours in front of the computer can all be a literary pursuit. Reading and writing has long been a passion, but it wasn't until 2010 that she found the guts to look into sharing her work with the world. Finding a market for her short stories, she decided to dream big and finish her novel. CLUB JUSTICE was released in March of 2012 with it's follow-up CLUB TIES joining it in December! Since then she has been working on a multitude of projects. McCade's Way, a mail-order bride romance set in the Great Depression, released March 23, 2013. She is currently working on a Southern romance and the third book in the Trinity Falls Series, CLUB SCARS, and is shooting for an early/late summer release, respectively! |

03/08/2013 ~ I can't believe how fast 2013 is flying by! The past couple of months have been crazy busy for me. Besides house hunting, I took a little break from Trinity Falls and thoroughly enjoyed writing McCade's Way, a 1930's mail-order bride romance due out this spring. I hope you will check it out! No worry though! I will be returning my attention to The Trinity Falls Series soon to complete book 3, CLUB SCARS. I am shooting for a summer release for Crux and Kat's tale. ~ Thank you for all of your support. I love your messages and emails!
12/18/2012 ~ CLUB TIES is now available on Amazon! Can you all see my silly grin from there?? I'm so excited to share Mox's story with you and can't wait to hear your thoughts! A few people have asked me about signed copies. My signature is only valuable on checks and even then it's iffy, but if anyone has the desire to have my Mara McBain scribbled on a paperback just message me and we can make arrangements. 11/16/2012 ~ Club Ties is in the final steps! We're inticipating it going to the printer early next week and and looking forward to a release date somewhere in the first week of December. As you can see above we have new cover art for Club Justice as well and that will be be going to the printer and updated at the same time. I just wanted to give everyone a quick update and say that I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving full of thanks, love, family and food!
10/08/2012 ~ The manuscript for book two of the Trinity Falls Series, Club Ties, is finished and has been sent off to the editor! Now comes the fingernail chewing, stomach churning part as I wait to see what someone else thinks of my baby! I'll keep you updated!
10/07/2012 ~ I had a visit from dear friend and writing partner, Adriana Noir, this weekend. Saturday Adriana and I took a drive up to Wynwidyn Press. The fall colors made the drive spectacular! Once there, we had a great meeting with Wynwidyn's Robin Moyer. Emails, texts, and phone calls aside, It's always so much fun to have face to face time. Adriana Noir picked up her first shipment of Requiem:Book of the Fallen. The joy on her face when she held her book in her hands for the first time was incredible! While there we also discussed cover art for book two in the Trinity Falls Series, Club Ties, and an update for Club Justice. I'm excited about the preliminary ideas and am looking forward to seeing what artist Darren Wheeling comes up with and sharing the finished product with you!

07/31/2012 ~ Hit the halfway mark on book two of The Trinity Falls Series this week. CLUB TIES continues the strong theme of family that was started in CLUB JUSTICE, and follows Mox as he deals with the fallout from from book one and finds love.

06/22/2012 ~ Yesterday was a long day, but so much fun! I made the trip to Ohio to pick up the amazing Adriana Noir, (check out her new website at AdrianaNoir.com) and then we headed up to Michigan to surprise Robin Moyer at the Wynwidyn Press Grand Opening. It was a great time and we met so many creative people. I wish Wynwidyn and Robin all the best!
